Carpinteria Beach Family Trip June 3-7th

We went to Carpinteria Beach for our family campout! Sean,Eric and Noah couldn't go. I forgot to get the campsite when they first came available so by the time I got a site, it was only on weekdays. I got the only one available and it was by the showers. We thought it would be a horrible site but it turned out to be fantastic! There was light by the showers so at night it was just enough to be able to see in your tent without having a lantern or flashlight. It worked out well for the girls with babies! It was a big spot and right by the grassy field and pathway to the beach. The first two days it was overcast and of course those were the only days Bree could be there. We still had fun though. Then it was beautiful and sunny the rest of the time! Kristi had her birthday while we were there so we went to "The Spot" to eat on her special day. Delicious burgers, fries and shakes! Yum!!! We were there when Sean had his birthday so that was a bummer not being able to celebrate with him. They put in a new park at the end of the grassy field. The kids loved it! Sienna was afraid to go down the roller slide, so Mandi went to take her and then Brooklyn climbed on. Well, when they got to the bottom, the momentum took them hurling forward and they all fell. The little girls had wood chips in their mouths and a few scrapes on their faces. Mandi fell on her side and it was scary because she is pregnant! But after they all calmed down and we wiped away the tears they were ok. We had 2, two month old babies but they were wonderful! It was such a fun time, it always is when I'm with my family.
